Sounds like a pain I know but when your messing with hundreds to thousands of dollars of equipment why take chances. Both connected with a strap and yourself grounded to both and earth ground. One to stand on and one for the MOBO and case to sit on. Any and I mean ANY time you put your hands inside the computer case you should be using a grounding strap at the very least preferably 2 antistat mats. Out of a total of 12 ASUS motherboards I've set up only one crashed and that was a bad processor. I'm really at a loss as to why so many people on here seem to have such a hard time. This is the 4th p5k I've put together and none have given me any problems at all. Only problems I have had was corruption of my RAID array due to inadvertantly swapping SATA cables while tinkering. Overall Review: I tinker on this board so much I'm supprised it hasn't blown up on me. Thermal solution can be a con when using some after-market cpu coolers.
